The UI textures for Henriko's SMS texture pack are far cleaner than the upscaled ones here. I have to delete the equivalent UniversalDynamicInput textures to get them to work however, so is it possible that this can be integrated? Or otherwise improved however necessary.

No, not possible. Its license is not defined and therefore cannot be used.

However, it can be changed if someone creates an improved version themselves and makes it available for this pack.

Yeah the pack itself is presumably free to use but not free to edit or redistribute, but can't licensing be negotiated then? His email is easily accessible and all that'd needed to be done on his end is to say these specific textures are public domain. Can't hurt to throw a quick email his way to see he's okay with it.

If it goes through, watch out on this specific texture sheet, the * symbol at the top-middle is replaced with what looks like a thumbstick.
