Feature Request - Is there a way we can do Annotation or Auto Tagging in some way to the elements.

Annotation and Auto-Tagging is a very crucial thing with so much time consuming and manual task. It would be a very good example to look into.

I was thinking of creating a very simple interface add-in (it won't be in the end 😅) that will provide flexibility to Tag the element accordingly.

You may know we can create a family to tag the element by adding parameter and its attributes. But sometimes tagging name in orientation wise (either horizontal and vertical) depending on the orientation of the elements, could be a tedious task and provided to the user with many tags can be putted to that single element (for eg. If I choose the category as Structural Rebar, first it will provide me how many types of Rebars I have used in the project, and then the user can assign the tagging by depending on some particular factor that distinguishes in the case its shape and other factors it may have ).

Its fine user has to create a family for which details he wants to put in tags. Same goes for Pining system (pipe orientation and tags).

So I was thinking to create that gives the users the flexibility to choose by their accordance and it helps any Revit user from any background.

Annotation is a bit more complex than tagging, so we will discuss that a bit later on this issue thread.
