Not really. But I won't duplicate features if an LSP can provide them.

ecode has nothing in common with Notepad++ to port anything from it. But it's possible to adapt the vscode grammar definition. I can take a look later.

Err, I’m no longer in the BASIC world, but I think I should point out that QB64PE is different from QB64Official. The OP is referring to QB64PE. You can extract the list of keywords from the Notepad++ setup. I think QB64PE also has a VS Code extension.

Same as #750. But this feature is also not available on Notepad4: zufuliu/notepad4#25. I need spell checking for my native language (Vietnamese). For foreign language, I will use an LLM.

Agree, and code snippets and macros where my main objective for the next release but I keep getting distracted with minor features requests. I'll try to start ignoring requests and focusing on more important features.

Call me hardcore (or amateurish), but I don’t use code snippets, abbreviations (just another kind of snippet?), or macros—even though I was the one who created the feature request for scripting the editor. I will keep my mouth shut and no longer bother you with useless feature requests. But please still spend a bit of your time on my bug reports (or minor feature requests) for the built-in terminal emulator. Thank you.

Me neither, that's why I didn't implement them before. But I acknowledge that they are important features for many.

Sure, bug reports have always higher priority than new features. That will never change.

They are important for people coding in legacy languages that don’t have a language server or a good IDE with IntelliSense. I acknowledge this. BTW, please don’t ignore my minor feature requests (mostly about the built‑in terminal emulator) if they’re cheap for you to implement, too. I currently don’t need any more features. Still looking for this, though: #651.
