Live monitor UI improvements #3
Description
- JavaScript needs to report errors when it encounters them.
- If the http server goes down, report that in the UI as opposed to simply displaying the stale values
- JavaScript might just need to be refactored and redesigned so adding UI elements is easier. That said, we should refrain from introducing large JS frameworks to keep the dependencies and therefore complexities of the monitoring UI small
