[BUG] emotes not showing up in kick chat

Current Behavior

Emotes not showing in kick chats, have tried reinstalling, clearing cache etc. multiple users reporting the same behaviour, first started about a week ago.

from console errors it seems to be due to a kick UI change but not exactly sure!

Expected Behavior

Emotes to show in chat after sending

Steps To Reproduce

Sending any emote after fresh extension install.

able to get them working again with the below userscript

this seems to resolve the issue when writing in chat, though emotes still dont appear if you reply to someone. Maybe a thread feature bug?
