Java error when using loadGridData

when I use "loadGridData" it says
"Error in .jcall("RJavaTools", "Ljava/lang/Object;", "invokeMethod", cl, :
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Calls: loadGridData ... array -> -> .jrcall -> .jcall -> .jcheck"
Is there any way to solve it?

How big is the data you want to load and your RAM.

The data was 11G and the free RAM was 23G.
Yes I solved it by splitting the data into small pieces.Thank you!
By the way, for the non-standard calendar in netcdf (for example 360_day), what's the best way to deal with them after loading into loader？I want to process them with bias correction in downscaler.

I had the same issue with files about 7gb
the following command before calling loadeR solved the issue for me
options(java.parameters = "-Xmx10g")
