Hi RoboParty team,
Thank you for open-sourcing Roboto Origin — this is genuinely one of the
most complete open-source humanoid projects available.
I've gone through the Atom01_hardware, roboparty_deploy, and
roboparty_train repos, and I noticed the published CAD covers the torso,
waist, legs, and arms (to the wrist) — but there's no head/neck or
hand/finger design (the 23 DOF confirms this: 12 leg + 10 arm + 1 waist).
Questions:
on your roadmap, or is Roboto Origin intentionally scoped to
locomotion + basic upper body only?
interface specs (mounting points, wrist connector pattern, wiring
budget) we could design against?
I'm also considering purchasing a kit and would appreciate clarity on:
3. What exactly is included when we buy the kit — hardware (structural
parts), electrical (PCBs/wiring), and firmware, or do we still need
to source/assemble some of these ourselves?
4. What is the payload capacity (max carry weight at the hands/arms,
and any published max load for the legs during walking/running)?
5. If we've just received the kit, what's the recommended first step —
mechanical assembly, electronics first, or calibration/software setup?
Thanks again for making this available to the community.
