Are there any tips & tricks for compositing sliced video sequences back into the original video to show the movement in context?

One I can share is to create a video from the generated png sequence using ffmpeg.
Change the framerate and output filename as necessary.

cd <projectDir>/<slicename>Vmm
ffmpeg -framerate 60 -pattern_type glob -i '*.png' -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p out.mp4
