I'd like to work on this issue because a mobile first experience is essential for governance platforms, where many users participate from their phones. Improving usability on small screens makes voting more accessible and encourages greater engagement.

I have experience building responsive React and TypeScript applications with a strong focus on usability across mobile and desktop devices. I've implemented responsive layouts, optimized component performance, and designed interfaces that remain intuitive and efficient on a wide range of screen sizes.

For this task, I'll optimize the proposal cards for narrow viewports by simplifying the displayed information, improve the placement and accessibility of voting actions for touch devices, and make targeted performance improvements to ensure a smooth experience on low-end mobile browsers. I'll keep the implementation aligned with the existing UI patterns and verify that the changes don't affect the desktop experience.
