Description
Pre-submission checklist
- I checked that no other Bug Report describing my problem exists.
- I am running the latest stable or prerelease firmware.
- My board is on the list of maintained boards.
- I accept that this issue may be closed if any of the above are found to be untrue.
Board
Wemos Lolin S3
Firmware version
1.5.0
Flashing method
I used the automatic OpenShock method via Chrome browser.
Describe what happened as precisely as possible.
I was able to assemble the DIY hub and pair two PET998DR shockers. The shockers respond to commands as expected, but at the end of every action there is a brief 100% intensity of that action.
For example, if I send a shock for an intensity of 5 for 10 seconds it shocks at the expected level and time, but then adds about a half of a second at 100 intensity at the end. Vibrate does the same thing.
This is a brand new board and transmitter. The shockers are older E-Sky branded PET998DR. but they function as expected with the remote. Pretty sure everything is hooked up correctly.
Describe what you expected to happen instead.
I expected the shock or vibrate commands to only do what was selected.
In as much detail as possible, describe the exact steps you took to make the problem appear.
- Soldered the three wires to the board to the 3V, Extend per-board CI settings #12, and Ground pins.
- Plugged into computer and flashed the firmware using the OpenShock tool in Chrome
- Connected to the hub via WiFi and it immediately entered setup via the captive portal
- Selected my home WiFi and entered the password, selected pin 12 for the transmit pin and pin 10 for the E-Stop pin (e-stop switch is not currently installed)
- Added the Hub to the OpenShock.app account and successfully paired it to the hub.
- Added the shockers selecting the PET998DR shockers. Successfully paired both.
Tried a vibrate at 25. It vibrates at that level and then full strength at the end.
Tried a shock at 5 in the hand. It shocked as expected, then much stronger for the last 1/2 second or so.
I've tested it extensively, and shock mode always adds the extra shock. Both shockers behave the same. I have tried power cycling the hub and the shockers, along with re-pairing the shockers.
