BL Dump Issue - New Hardware Revision?

I have a G90, but the hardware is different from the initial released version:

I used the following command and confirmed it did flash the unit (I tried both the display unit and the main unit)

make TTYUSB=/dev/ttyUSB0 flash-encrypted-prebuilt

After reboot, it says executing user code, however nothing is output. Did something change where it doesn't output anymore or am I making a mistake on my end?

I haven't kept up with recent changes here but that sounds possible. You should be able to recover by flashing an original compatible firmware image. flash-encrypted-prebuilt only flashes the application partition, i.e. the original bootloader should still be there so at least you should be able to recover.

Note that these use different MCUs and it is important you flash the appropriate image. Naming could be better but extract_bl_main is for the big unit, and extract_bl is for the detachable head unit with the display.

It's been a while since I worked on this (6 years it seems). But note that there is only a prebuilt target for the detachable head unit.

Thank you, that is good to know. luckily no damage flashing the main unit with the prebuilt and I was able to recover both by flashing the original fw; however, the display unit remains silent when it should be dumping the firmware. Any thoughts? I imagine the key is the same, but I have no way to extract it
