dGPU doesnt get suspended #134

Description

@Moshe-Shelomov

I've had this issue for some time now but didnt have time to create an issue here, tried for a long time to somehow solve it using LLMs to no avail.

Basically, dGPU doesnt turn off in hybrid mode.
Turning dGPU off via 'supergfxctl --mode Integrated' works though, but it basically makes whole "hybrid" mode useless since it runs dGPU all the time.

I installed asusctl according to the instructions on the website:

  • installed nvidia-laptop-power-cfg
  • enabled systemd services nvidia-suspend.service nvidia-hibernate.service nvidia-resume.service nvidia-powerd
  • added to /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf line 'options nvidia NVreg_EnableS0ixPowerManagement=1' since before that 'cat /proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/0000:01:00.0/power' showed "Disabled" status in S0ix Power Management

I checked nvidia-smi and it shows Xorg and kwin_wayland.
