Hello, i don't know to build and compile OpenBoard, someone can help me !

Versions
Provide version information for all components and libraries.

• OpenBoard version 1.7.7
• Qt version 6.10
• Version for other third-party libraries e.g. poppler, ffmpeg as appropriate

On which platform/OS are you? This is important to know which tools are available to you.

If you are on Windows, MacOS, Debian Linux or Ubuntu, then this page provides precompiled downloads for you: https://github.com/OpenBoard-org/OpenBoard/wiki/Downloads

They are all the latest version (1.7.7). Is there a particular reason that you want to build from source?

The build instructions for Windows are severly outdated, probably because noone uses them. Again the question, why do you want to build OpenBoard from source instead of using the provided binary?

The answer can be "Just for fun", and that would already provide much information. The bug report could then read like this:

Hi, I am trying to build OpenBoard from source just for fun, but it seems that the wiki for that doesn't match with the files in Openboard-ThirdParty repository.

If you don't have such a high-level view of the issue, you can instead describe the things you did:

I personally don't use Windows, so I can't really help you here. But if you want a solution from someone, you can help them by providing as much insight into your thought processes as possible. What did you do? What have you tried? Why did it fail? What are you seeing?
In the ideal case, your description is so detailed that someone else can just follow it and end up with the same issue. That issue is then reproducible and that is the point when you can become more high-level in your descriptions. To get a feel for it requires experience, but a good guideline is: Too much information rarely hurts, especially if it's structured well.
