enable HRM on the nav layer

HRM are disabled on the nav layer, making navigation in non-vim software a bit more difficult.
ctrl + arrow is often used to skip words.
the following workflow is a bit tedious:

• few right arrows
• oh, I actually want to skip a few words -- shoot I have to release the nav key, press ctrl on the right hand and re-enable the nav layer and now I can skip words

This is a known issue, we are working on it but generalizing the HRM on all applicable layers is surprisingly tricky.

Is there anywhere these tricky parts are documented ? Maybe someone (even maybe me} could help implement what’s needed.

There was an attempt at implementing this feature a while back on the repo for the Quacken’s ZMK firmware (which held the first ZMK implementation of Selenium) but that was a very flawed implementation : Nuclear-Squid/zmk-keyboard-quacken#36
