Currently, you convert the .ico icons to .png where possible because .ico is not part of the FreeDesktop standard. That is good. However, it would be nice to avoid the ImageMagick dependency, and the .ico icons just aren't that great anyway, with the biggest being 48x48. The following are the best official icons I could find from here. They are 128x128 and transparent. I'm not sure where we stand legally, but I imagine it would be okay to redistribute these?
