Run the gates on main for 1.0.0

Merging #19 did not create a CI run on main, so the release workflow,
which refuses to publish a commit whose gates it cannot see passing,
had nothing to read. This commit changes no file; it exists to let CI
run on the tree 1.0.0 is cut from.
