After a conversation with @brownd1978, we thought it might be good to consider optional choices at the ntuple level. e.g. removing upstream tracks if you dont need those. We could consider an e+ or e- option too. We could also make specific choices for commissioning type analysis .v. physics (e.g. saving more calorimeter details or less).
We need to discuss this more broadly, I'm opening this issue so we can keep track of what options we might want to consider.
