Publish v2 alpha checklist

After #263, I took a look at the current state of the repo. The actual code should be good to go, but there is a bunch of chores around it.

I think at the very minimum we want:

• Uninstall gulp (we no longer use it)
• Set exports correctly in package.json

Then soon after:

• Configure Rollup (we currently have a rollup.config.js that is empty)
• Port tests to hTest (they currently use Karma)
• Drop Bower
• Use 11ty or some other SSG instead of this weird templating we do

Yeah, master will eventually be renamed to v1 and v2 will be renamed to main.

@LeaVerou Okay, so…I feel a little silly asking for help on this…

But I was so used to Mocha-style tests—and after Node’s standard library added their built-in test runner (that uses basically the same syntax), my puny brain is having issues trying to rewrite the tests as hTest.

If you’d rather just do the test rewrites yourself, I understand.

But if you’re willing to take a look at my WIP rewrite, I would love to learn how to rewire the way my brain thinks about tests!

Plus (once I get the hang of it), I will gladly evangelize hTest to anyone willing to listen. 😉

I’m still busy embarrassing myself with my clumsy attempts at rewriting in hTest. Maybe they’re just a learning exercise?

However, I stumbled on an issue in the process. I cannot seem to get $.all() or []._.all() to import. They are always undefined.

If I open a terminal and start the Node.js repo (thereby removing my awful code from the equation 🥸), it seems the issue still remains:
