Pseudo versions and same app updating again and again multiple time.

Recently I am have this issue where some apps are use pseudo version, like only 2 ( that I've found till now atleast) one of em is Signal, and it just keeps updating signal to that same version again and again i've attached the update logs. and obtainium still doesn't know which version of Signal I am using, right now I have stopped auto update, but why is this happening to certain apps and any way for it to use the actual version instead of pseudo version?
Also, not just in background but everytime I open the app it starts updating these apps with pseudo versions and then doens't update the app version after updating them, which creates this infinite loop of updating the same app with same version again and again!
When I stopped auto update and then manually update the app it then changes the version in obtainium finally, and stops that constant updating of same version of the same app.
Is this a un/know bug? is there some way to fix it? or can the dev please fix this, i want it to auto update but not the same app again and again.

Thanks but, I just used signal as an example, and there are few other apps that do this, so I wanted to know if there's a way to fix this for all the apps that keeps on updating again and again, like why does some apps use pseudo versions? I have given it shizuku permissions, so I feel like it could easily use adb to know exact versions for all apps, no? or atleast update the version if it's updating in background, if it's gonna use a pseudo version!

When you set up the app it could not figure out the version of the application, so it used a routine to make one up based upon file attributes.

Currently ObtainX (and I think Obtainium) downloads the file and figures out how to track from its internal database.

Of none of it works it uses psuedo versioning. Try turning it of in the app configuration (set to auto or standard), most of the time that works.

Thanks I had to turn on " Reconcile version string with version detected from OS" for every app that was using pseudo version. This removed the pseudo version tag from the app, although why don't it default to it being on I wonder, anyway now it should use the version detected by the OS.
