LOCATION KIND - question/discussion for SUBLOCATION KINDS

Good afternoon,

I am wondering - is there any rule/guidance on what sublocations' "KIND" should be? I have been observing that if a new location is added (a sub location), that the default KIND will be "SITE", even if the main LOCATION is something else.

If there is an upstream and downstream gage for a LOCK, I am trying to figure out how to force a plot in A2W to show the upstream and downstream on the same plot (per a request). The project is not a USACE project, but the gages USACE operated.

Any insight/suggestions are appreciated. At the moment my only workaround idea is to make two locations CrookedRiverUpstream and CrookedRiverDownstream as "SITES" and have them show up on different icons in A2W.
