env: windows + vs code + codex setup properly and run properly

so i clicked understand project, and this happened.

is it because I only have codex? this error is very confusing, and based on your UI layout I guess 1 model works?

Yeah I get the same thing. I have Claude Code, Gemini and CoPilot (all prior to this, all authenticated with plans).

UI seems to think they are avaialble, but none work.

First two were me trying Claude Code and Gemini. Then I tried Brainstorm and it just never does anything.

One other issue, the docs give incorrect information about how to authenticate Claude Code. It says to do:

claude auth login

But that isn't right. :)
