Unable to build a release build for my windows UWP

Unable to release the app in Release mode. Able to deploy it in debug mode. 

Could you please help in in deploying this.

I work on the .NET Native runtime and compiler team and just stumbled into this issue. I see that's it's from almost a year ago? Is this still an issue? I always recommend running against latest stable as it has tons of fixes (info below). Happy to help out.

Here’s some instructions on how to get to latest of everything: 

• Install VS 2017 RTM and pick the UWP workflow at install
• Open the project
• Open the nuget package manager
• Select the package for Microsoft.NETCore.UniversalWindowApplication (aka the UWP metapackage)
• Update to 5.3.1
• Build and see if it repros!
