I've identified the EC firmware version is 17L7EMS1.106, the dump looks similar to .102. Would simply adding the string to the allowed list be sufficient, or are there register differences to verify?

This doesn't look consistent, because your new turbo mode is 0xc8 = 0b1000, and in #734 0xc5 = 0b0101, so new bits are 3 and 3

@danielbaires55 Hi, actually as you on Fedora and probably using COPR build, you can try to use firmware flag when loading module. But I'm not exactly sure how to make it best.

You can try to pass firmware flag on module load with modprobe.d according to https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man5/modprobe.conf.5.html

Adding new device will take some time, until new PR will have enough devices, and as you will not be able to use PR commit anyway, this is only good workaround

The workaround worked perfectly. Loading the module with firmware=17L7EMS1.102 gives full access to all controls — shift_mode, cooler_boost, fan_mode — all exposed correctly via sysfs.
