Cannot edit values in "Bounding Box per Direction" in Sprite Texture

Description

In the Texture tab of a sprite, under the Bounding Box per Direction section, values cannot be modified. When attempting to save changes, the values are reset automatically.

Observed Behavior

  • Any value entered is reverted upon saving.
  • A temporary workaround I found is to add a new box below the existing ones and keep all values at zero. This allows edits to “work” in some way, though it may introduce other bugs.

Expected Behavior

  • The bounding box values for each direction should be editable and persist after saving.

Impact

  • Prevents precise collision and animation adjustments for sprites.
  • The workaround might cause unforeseen issues, but it currently allows progress.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Assets Editor and select a sprite.
  2. Go to TextureBounding Box per Direction.
  3. Try changing any value and save.
  4. Observe that the values are reset.
