Running on OSX / macOS

This has come up in e-mail, so I thought I'd document it for the future. Currently, there are no plans to support AntiMicro on OSX. I currently, don't have the hardware or the time. However, if someone would like to take this on, it would be a welcomed addition. AntiMicro should mostly compile and work on OSX. SDL and Qt both have a OSX ports. The primary issue that I can foresee is that the code to generate key presses is platform dependent. This might be a possible solution:

Hi, I'm working on supporting to OSX recently.
It needs many work yet, but can compile and run basic mouse/keyborad features.

@ymmtmdk Thanks! Great work! Please keep us updated on your progress and let us know if there is any way we can help. I want to wait until you have a more complete port before merging into the mainline. I skimmed what you have so far and it looks good. I'll try to take a closer look when I have a chance. I have addressed this issue in #257, which runs successfully on macOS.

That's great news @fwcd! So far for macOS I have been using my fork (w/ a few fixes) of Enjoyable, but this is a lot more promising.

Weird. It wasnt working for me. It says cmake isn't a command

AntiMicro is no longer maintained. There were no bigger fixes since 2017.
There is a new recommended version of this app called AntiMicroX.

As a part of cleanup, this issue will be closed.
