keyboard-state should allow for a more granular configuration of display format #4848
Description
As of now:
- Icons for Scoll, Caps and Num Lock are shared
- Names are fixed
Therefore what is not possible by default:
- granular changes like: using a different icon for scroll, num and caps
- changes like: changing the preexisting {name} in order to shorten
Why is this a problem?
Waybar is highly customizable, but this module seemingly is not. It kind of breaks the visual impression on highly minimalistic customized setups.
What could an optimal solution:
- offer a format string for each
- alternatively, offer the option to use a custom-icon for each lock
- alternatively, allow to control the names of the lock
Anyway, waybar is a great product - really love it. 🚀
